Tiffany Sorrell is from the Navajo Nation and enrolled as a member of the Diné tribe. She has lived in Tucson for 20 years, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development, and a master’s degree in Educational Psychology with a minor in American Indian Studies. In December 2019, Dr. Sorrell received her PhD in Higher Education with a minor in American Indian Studies. Dr. Sorrell’s dissertation researched the importance of Native American cultural values in higher education. Dr. Sorrell is also a former student athlete, running both cross-country and track for the UA. She has extensive experience in student support and learning, and is passionate about uplifting the youth in reaching their goals and developing their skills to be productive members of society.
